PokerStars US Managing Director, Severin Rasset, stated in a press release that the tournament has been curated to be accessible to all players by creating an inclusive schedule with a wide range of buy-ins, aiming to provide everyone with the opportunity to compete for a coveted SCOOP trophy. Of the $5 million prize pool, $3 million will go to the shared liquidity pool of players in Michigan and New Jersey, while the remaining $2 million will be up for grabs on PokerStars PA. The tournament will offer 252 events with varying buy-ins starting from March 17 and ending on April 3, culminating in a two-day $300 buy-in Main Event that commences on April 2. PokerStars US announces the return of the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) this month, featuring the largest-ever series guarantee of $5 million across liquidities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Michigan.
